Three Teenagers Arrested After Carindale Break-In

Brisbane police have arrested three teenage boys following a break and enter at a Carindale residence in the early hours of Thursday morning.

Police said they were called to an Amersham Crescent home around 12:26am after the occupants reported three boys allegedly stealing personal items. The boys reportedly fled on foot when confronted.

The Brisbane Dog Squad tracked the teenagers to nearby bushland at Nelson Place, where they were taken into custody.

Two 16-year-olds, from Cleveland and Alexandra Hills, have been charged with multiple counts including entering a dwelling with intent and committing an indictable offence. The pair are expected to appear before Brisbane Children’s Court today.

A 15-year-old from Birkdale sustained a dog bite during the arrest. He received medical treatment at the scene before being transported to hospital.

Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
